Some of us are lucky enough to know and love an animal that is so incredibly beautiful, talented and huge hearted; we didn’t have Emmy, she had us.
Emmy was THE Rancho Liebe Princess – from day one at Sandy Arledge’s place, she let everyone know that she was “THE ONE”. If Dynamic Deluxe was the King of Western Pleasure (which he was!), then certainly Emmy was the Princess of Western Pleasure.
Emmy was bred to the incredible stallion, My Final Notice for a Kentucky Incentive Foal for 2009. She started foaling on Monday, May 4th and developed complications. The foal was presented wrong and although Cindy Stephens and Dana at Riverside Ranch went to heroic measures, it was not to be. The foal died and due to complications Emmy was humanely euthanized Saturday, May 9th at the Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington, KY.
The veterinarians, especially Dr. Peggy Marsh (of Hagyard) and Dr. Snodgrass (in Bowling Green), Bill and I thank you so very very much for your care of Emmy in her final hours. To Cindy, Stephen, Dana, and Terry – thank you all ever so much for all you did for her and for being our friends. To Mike Houchin, who helped us move her over all of Kentucky – you are a jewel and we are proud to call you our friend!
Emmy Lou Liebe, WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!
